VW T6.1 Day Van
This well-specced VW T6 Combi came to us with a clear brief – create a comfortable, practical day van with the flexibility for the occasional overnight adventure.
To transform the interior into a more versatile living space, the van received a full insulation package along with fresh blue carpet lining throughout, helping to improve both comfort and appearance. A durable light blue Altro floor was fitted, providing a hard-wearing finish that's perfect for everyday use while complementing the interior colour scheme beautifully.
At the heart of the conversion is a SmartBeds full-width Evo bed system, upholstered in matching VW Simora cloth for a factory-inspired finish. The bed provides a comfortable place to relax during the day and easily converts into a spacious sleeping area when needed.
Storage was another key consideration, with a custom full-width under-seat drawer providing valuable space for luggage, camping equipment and everyday essentials. Additional rear storage nets offer convenient access to smaller items while keeping the interior tidy and organised.
To complete the look, the fascia panels and table were finished in matt carbon board with silver edging, adding a modern, stylish touch that perfectly complements the overall design.
